Interclamp pipe clamp fittings have been used to create a modular balustrade safety post system along this railway, protecting work personnel from their dangerous surroundings.
This project relied on rapid assembly on-site, made possible with just a simple hex key, with no bulky welding required. As a result, the ease and speed of installation ensured passenger disruption was kept to a minimum.
Fittings are hot-dipped galvanised to exceed the requirements of AS/NZS 4680:2006. Additionally, the finish receives a double coat, adding extra corrosion resistance to provide the installation with a longer life and protecting the fittings from the railway conditions. Alternative powder coated colour options are also available to suit specific project requirements.
